Keeping young men safe
Last updated October 7, 2026 · Black Boys 2 Men, LLC
You are trusting us with your son. Here is how we take care of that trust, and what to do if anything ever worries you.
The short version
- Emiere leads every session, and mothers are kept informed.
- Every mentor we add in future will be background-checked first.
- The community is private and moderated. Direct messages between adults and members under 18 are turned off in our community; conversations stay in the open, moderated spaces.
- We never publish photos or video of a young man without his parent’s written permission.
- Worried about something? Email info@blackboys2men.com or call 470-567-4465. In an emergency call 911; in a crisis call or text 988.
1. How to report a concern
- Someone is in danger right now: call 911.
- A young man is in crisis or thinking about hurting himself: call or text 988 (the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), any time, day or night.
- Anything else that worries you (something said or shared in the community, a message that felt wrong, something at a gathering): email info@blackboys2men.com or call or text 470-567-4465.
Every report is read by a person and taken seriously. We follow the law on reporting suspected abuse or neglect. You don’t need proof to tell us something felt off.
2. Who leads, and keeping mothers informed
- Our founder, Emiere Scaife, leads every session himself.
- Mothers are kept informed about what happens in the program.
- Every mentor we add in future will be background-checked before working with young men.
3. A private, moderated community
- Our community is private and members-only. The young men’s Brotherhood space is separate from the mothers’ space.
- We moderate the community, and we remove content or members that put others at risk.
- Direct messages between adults and members under 18 are turned off in our community. That includes members who are 18 or older. Conversations stay in the open, moderated spaces, where everyone can see them.
- What members share stays in the community. Nobody should screenshot, record or share another member’s posts.
4. Community guidelines
The Mothers Circle and the Brotherhood work because people can be honest in them. Every member agrees to these guidelines when they join:
- Be respectful. No harassment, bullying, threats, hate, or sexual content.
- What members share stays in the community. Don’t screenshot, record, copy or share other members’ posts, stories or images outside it.
- Don’t record live sessions.
- Direct messages between adults and members under 18 are turned off. Conversations stay in the open, moderated spaces.
- The Mothers Circle is for mothers. The Brotherhood is for the young men in the mentorship.
- No spam, selling or recruiting for other programs.
- If something feels wrong, tell us: see how to report a concern.
We moderate the community. We may remove content, and we may suspend or end the membership of anyone who breaks these guidelines or puts others at risk. These guidelines are part of our Terms of Service.
5. In-person gatherings in Atlanta
- Our in-person gatherings are optional.
- A parent or guardian attends with any son under 18, or signs a consent form before he attends without them.
6. Photos, video and recordings
- We never publish photos or video of a young man without written permission from his parent or guardian.
- Our live sessions run inside our private community platform. Monday sessions may be recorded for the founder’s internal use only, kept only as long as needed to plan sessions, then deleted. Recordings are never shared or published.
7. More about how we protect your family
