I built the roomI needed at fourteen.

I've been mentoring young Black men for more than 15 years, long before Black Boys 2 Men had a name. I built what I needed at fourteen: older men who tell the truth, a brotherhood that won't let a young man disappear, and a mother who finally has backup.

Today I lead every Monday session and the weekly Mothers Circle session myself. Every parent talks to me directly.
