Black Boys 2 Men is a long-term mentorship for young men ages 13–24, operated under Project Black Men out of Atlanta, GA. This policy covers our marketing site (blackboys2men.com) and the ARISE platform used by mentees and their parents.
We collect information you provide directly — applications, mentor intake forms, account profiles for mentees and parents, payment details routed through our payment processor, and messages you send us. We also collect basic analytics about how the site is used (pages viewed, referrer, device type) so we can improve it.
We use the information to run the program: review applications, match mentees with mentors, communicate about sessions, process tuition, and produce internal reports. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share mentee data outside our staff and contracted mentors without explicit consent from a parent or guardian.
Account passwords are hashed. Payment details are tokenized through our payment processor and never stored on our servers. Mentee and parent data sits in access-controlled systems available only to vetted staff. Mentors only see the participants they are matched with.
You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you or your child, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (within the limits of our compliance obligations). Email info@blackboys2men.com from the address on file and we will respond within 30 days.
Our program serves participants 13 and older. We require a parent or guardian to enroll any participant under 18 and to approve communications. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.
If we update this policy materially, we will note the date below and email account holders. Continued use of the program after a change indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
